Hello!
Welcome to Blackiron Jewels. Bill Jenkins here, introducing you to my products and services as a traditional Blacksmith. My preference, while working at the forge, is to produce unique and quality products in the same manner as our ancestors, with little or no modern equipment.
Blacksmithing first introduced itself to me about 17 years ago. While learning the trade from other blacksmiths and workshops, I became intrigued with the creative techniques and discovered what I wanted to do. I continue to enjoy meeting people at all the trade demonstrations, and the work is as enjoyable as it gets.
All of the items I create are hand forged, and are one of a kind! Most items that require two pieces of iron joined together are forge welded, such as the Campfire Pokers pictured below.
The Campfire Pokers are approximately 47 to 48 inches long.
The basket handles pictured are a favorite choice for many.
The Ram Head Pokers are unique in themselves.
If you prefer a fire poker for your fireplace or wood burning stove, I can make one shorter for you.
The wall hooks can also be custom made for you. The hooks pictured measure 4 inches long x 1 inch deep @ the span of the hook.
I can also make candle holders, votive and candle jar holders, towel bars and other decorative items for your home and garden.
